Albums

Before Toto was formed, members of the band did session work for other musicians. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.

Shem von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live album titled Falling in Between, which included live recordings from the tour and an interview with the band.

The album, which was released on November 6, 2018 included three brand new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun as also completed recordings of four tracks from the past with Jeff Porcaro playing drums and Mike or Steve Porcaro playing bass. The album also featured the cover of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe" that the band decided to include after hearing a version on the radio.
